ice cream shop today. Hoping summer could last forever, I fully enjoyed some backyard knitting on a green version of
In Threes (soon after starting
the pink one, I realized I didn't have enough yarn to continue.) I'm loving knitting this pattern during these unexpected hot days. Maybe, as in this definition of linger, summer has decided "to remain or stay on in a place longer than is usual or expected, as if from reluctance to leave." Don't go yet.
