Last year, for her fifth birthay I knit this tunic. It's not her favorite, she rarely wears it.
So she and I began ripping it out this morning. I intend to make her either in threes or another mini shalom. I've thought about doing this for six months now. She loves the colors she chose and the softness of the Baby Cashmere Merino Silk DK from Sublime Yarns. It's already starting to pill, but I'm optimistic these are all the reasons she'll happily wear the new garment.
