Our gratitude tree is filling with leaves. I think the kids have summed up tomorrow precisely, a full day of being home and turkey. In the midst of my cleaning and crafting preparations for this weekend's meals, grandparent visit, and birthday celebration, I was overwhelmed with the simple pleasure of gathering as a family. We are diving head first into crafting gifts with mother daughter knitting baskets in effect and quilting pieces for spread across the floor. My mantra for the coming months is "Winter's Great!" So far, we've had the sunniest November I can remember and I am turning to face it every chance I get, remembering that we are healthy, happy and very lucky to be in the thick of family.
