i tended to her while she was home sick calling out "Mama! Mama!" from the nest.
Today is day one of a year long self portraiture workshop that I am participating in called "NOW YOU." On this first day, I had the wonderful realization that self imagery can be self care. Inspired by the words of one of my teachers, Meredith Winn, "we can focus on the pieces of self that want (or need) to be seen by ourselves."
